Compensation Policy

PCORI peer reviewers are compensated for completing their review.

As part of the information entered in the ReView peer review system, reviewers will be asked to
provide the email address associated with their PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal
account, please create an account at https://www.paypal.com/. Detailed instructions on how to
set up your account are available here.

Within 14 business days of completing a review, you will receive an email from PayPal notifying
you that you received a payment from Origin Editorial.

If you receive $600 or more in compensation for reviewing PCORI reports in a single calendar
year, you will automatically receive a 1099-K form from PayPal. The amount received for
completing reviews of PCORI reports must be declared as taxable income. Additional details

If you prefer to decline payment, you will have the opportunity to decline payment in the system
when you complete your review.
